I live and breathe country music! It's what I choose to listen to, the television that I watch and the concerts that I love to go to. To me, country music is life. Which is funny to those who know me, because 5 years ago, you couldn't even get me to listen to it!
Here's how my love affair with country music started...
A few years ago when I started my career as an On-Air Personality at The Monadnock Radio Group, they needed me to fill in on 98.7 Wink Country. I was panic stricken! I didn't know anything about country music other than a few crossover songs and some of the classics you couldn't help but know. As my first air shift approached, in a frenzy I began my research. I took my music logs for the day and began to search Google, Wikipedia, theboot.com and any other website I could for info on the artists, songs and the industry. I made it through my first air shift and was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the music and how I could really relate to the songs I had heard.
The best part was that whether it was a new song or it was 10 years old, it was all new to me. From that point on I was hooked. The more and more I filled in on Wink, the more I fell in love with everything country.
Eventually, I ended up at my first country concert. It was Toby Keith. He was playing outside, at a fair in upstate Vermont. He was amazing! Now I go to every concert that I can. I have also been able to meet quite a few country artists, and I must say, they are some of the nicest and most down to earth people I have ever encountered. I feel privileged that 98.7 Wink Country has been able to bring some amazing artists to our very own Colonial Theatre for shows as well.
I have definitely found my home in country music and I absolutely love being a part of Wink Nation. We have such dedicated listeners and I love that we can reward them with great prizes, experiences and of course, play them "Today's Hot New Country".
Anytime you have a question, please feel free to email me.

I spend a lot of time online reading, browsing sites and watching videos. All for the sake of research of course. I come across a lot of really interesting stuff and a lot of....well let's just call it less interesting stuff. These are a few of my favorites right now. Check them out when you get a minute and let me know what you think!
