WINQ will conduct this contest concurrently and simultaneously with radio stations affiliated with WINQ, and in various states.  Listeners of WINQ will, therefore, be competing with listeners of other radio stations to win the same prize. A station will be chosen at random from all the participating radio stations. When prompted by text message, listener must join the WINQ text club to be eligible for the $10,000 grand prize.  $5,000 will be awarded to the Grand Prize winner and $5,000 awarded to the Grand Prize winner’s charity of choice.  Charity is defined as “a non profit organization recognized as exempt from federal income tax; for example, under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (eligibility to receive tax deductible charitable contributions.) WINQ reserves the right, in its unlimited discretion to determine whether a designated Charity is exempt from federal income taxation and may require winner to designate a different Charity. WINQ may also require the winner to provide documents to support such claim of tax exempt status.

Listener can ensure their membership in the text club by texting WINK to 77000.  All text club members as of October 10, 2014 4:30PM are eligible for the grand prize.  After 4:30PM October 10 a grand prize winner station will be chosen at random from all participating radio stations. Then a text club member from that station will be chosen at random.  The cell phone number from the chosen text will be called and the reaction recorded for broadcast.  If unable to speak with the text club member, within 5 minutes from the time that contestant’s cell number is dialed, then the $10,000 grand prize will be forfeited and another random text member will be chosen with the same procedure until a winner is determined.  WINQ is not responsible for any difficulties contacting WINQ or entering the Contest, any malfunctions or errors, whether technical or typographical or human error, experienced due to overload, internet availability or texting server issues. Text messages are sent through third party providers; WINQ does not guarantee, and shall not be responsible for, the delivery or timeliness of any text message entry. Prize will be available within 10 business days. Be safe… Don’t text and drive

WINQ contests are open to all eligible persons in New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts 18 or older, only one winner per household. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. Contest participants should not rely on streamed broadcasts as they may be delayed from the on air broadcasts.

Employees of WINQ, THE MONADNOCK RADIO GROUP, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WINQ main studio are not eligible to enter or win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse.
