Cheshire Medical to host webinar on trauma

KEENE, NH – Cheshire Medical Center is set to host a Trauma and Basic Principles of Trauma-informed care Webinar next week.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and in recognition of that, The Center for Population Health at Cheshire Medical Center will present the free webinar lead by Psychiatrist Christopher Mills , MD, and Susan Maydwell, PA-C, who will answer questions from participants.

According to a news release from Cheshire Medical, the occurrence of trauma is widespread, the presentation will aim to raise awareness about trauma and introduce the principles of trauma-informed care and current initiatives in Cheshire County surrounding it.

The webinar will be held via Zoom and is set for Tuesday May 17th at 7 pm. Those interested in attending should register ahead of time here.
